On 24 October 2024, AIIKS hosted the India-Africa Millets International Symposium. This project explores the biocultural and nutritional significance of millets as a resilient food source in the face of climate change. The initiative resulted in the signing of international IKS research and community engagement agreements, fostering institutional cooperation between India and African nations. The roadmap focuses on human capital development and the validation of traditional agricultural practices to ensure regional food security.
