Under South Africa’s 2026 SADC Chairship, Indigenous Knowledge is being positioned as a foundation for African-led industrialisation, climate resilience, social cohesion, and sustainable development. Across Southern Africa, youth are combining Indigenous Knowledge Systems, digital innovation, and Ubuntu to shape a resilient and sustainable future.

Through this approach, SADC youth become transformative innovators, using Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies to champion Indigenous Knowledge Systems. From sustainable agriculture and climate resilience to regenerative tourism, peacebuilding, and the protection of Indigenous intellectual property, Ubuntu-Tech creates locally rooted solutions that strengthen food sovereignty, cultural identity, green economies, and regional self-reliance.
