Information is presented about 177 plants formerly used in healing by the Ua people of southern Zambia. The material is largely drawn from manuscripts held in Kasenga, together with information from various more recent authorities. Two lists are presented: (a) plants that have so far been identified together with those of which only the 11a name is known, and (b) the diseases and species used for treatment.
